Veroster helps people manage shift schedules, income, teams, chat, trades, reminders, and data exports. This policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use Veroster websites, apps, and related services.
Information We Collect
We collect information needed to provide the service, such as email address, display name, profile details, account status, and settings for language, theme, notifications, or calendar preferences.
When you use the app, we may store schedule data such as Shift Types, groups, patterns, events, activities, notes, locations, pay rules, base salary, extra pay, trade records, and reports you create or save.
If you use team features, we may store team workspaces, members, contacts, invitations, messages, circles, trade offers, and the status of take, release, or swap workflows.
Device and Billing Information
To keep the app working, we may collect technical information such as device type, app version, push notification tokens, calendar subscription tokens, audit logs, crash or diagnostic events, and security-related metadata.
Premium purchases are handled by Google Play or the App Store in mobile release builds. We do not store full card numbers or full payment details. We may store entitlement status, purchase tokens, or subscription verification data needed to activate paid features.
How We Use Information
- Provide calendar, Quick Add, reports, exports, cloud sync, reminders, and team collaboration
- Sync information across supported devices and maintain account state
- Send notifications about shifts, pending trades, or reminders you configure
- Verify Premium purchases and manage entitlements
- Detect abuse, diagnose issues, and improve service reliability
- Respond to support requests and comply with applicable law
Sharing Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only when needed with service providers that support infrastructure, database hosting, analytics, crash reporting, push notifications, app store verification, or other services that help Veroster operate.
For team features, some information is visible according to workspace settings and member roles, such as shared schedules, display names, team members, messages, or trade offers you send in team spaces.
We may disclose information if required by law, court order, enforcement of terms, or to protect the safety and security of users and the service.
Calendar Subscription and Exports
If you create a calendar subscription URL, external calendar apps that have that URL can fetch calendar data according to the privacy options you choose, such as whether locations or notes are included. Keep this URL private and regenerate it if you believe it has been shared.
Export files such as CSV, Excel, .ics, or JSON backups are created at your request. After download, storage and sharing of those files depend on the device, app, or service you use with them.
Retention and Deletion
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security, troubleshoot issues, keep backups, or comply with legal obligations. You can delete, edit, or export some data from inside the app where the feature is available.
To request deletion of account data or data that cannot be managed inside the app, contact us using the email below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards such as access controls, token verification, and account or workspace data separation. No online system is 100% secure, so use a strong password and do not share sensitive data or private subscription URLs.
Children
Veroster is not designed for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate consent, contact us so we can review and take reasonable action.
Changes
We may update this policy when services, features, or legal requirements change. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and may notify users through the website or app as appropriate.
